Black Hole Senshi Design Contest - NOW CLOSED!!!

Only one person asked for an extension, which will be until Sunday, the 3rd. This extension is only for that specific person, the contest is now closed to everyone else. Judging will begin on Monday, the 4th.</sub>




OBJECTIVE:

  To design a new Black Hole Senshi for Sailor Galatea and her team.




REQUIREMENTS:

  Must be a new, original senshi made by you. Not your existing OC senshi or one of the canon characters.

  If you have already made a fan Black Hole Senshi, then you are more than welcome to submit that senshi.

  The fuku must follow a basic "outline" already worn by my Black Hole Senshi - see references below.

  The senshi must be from either a satellite or an asteroid - no dwarf planets since the point of Black Hole Senshi is that they weren't originally senshi like the canon characters.

  Drawing weapons is optional: Black Hole Senshi do not have "real" powers like the canon senshi - they were granted their title, so they rely on weapons and melee attacks.

  You may not use a dollmaker. You may use a base or reference from another work with the permission from the original artist and/or if you give credit to the original artist. If I find out your entry has been traced from another work without permission, that entry will be disqualified. This is not a contest based on art skills, but rather that of design, even so, I would still you rather do the entry 100% by yourself than using a base. However, using a base or referencing will not lower your score at all.

You can design either a satellite senshi or an asteroid senshi. You do not have to draw more than one senshi in your entry. You can have up to 3 entries, but only your best entry will be chosen to compete against the others.

SENSHI DESCRIPTION:


Satellite Senshi -

  These senshi are from moons. In the Silver Millennium they were princesses/duchesses/etc and their tiaras that they wore back then are wore in their present day senshi form. So each satellite senshi will have a different tiara from each other.

  Their fuku colours consist of three colours:
- white for the gloves, bodice, shoes, and at the top of the collar and the skirt (which is faded to the main colour on the bottom);
- a main colour that appears solid on the tops of the gloves and front bow, and faded at the bottom of the collar and the skirt;
- a secondary colour (that must be a type of metal) for the trim on the collar and the top of the bodice, the belt, the back bow, and the underskirt, as well as on any embellishments on the shoes. (such as bronze, iron, platinum, copper, etc.)

  Every satellite senshi has a brooch on the front of their belt that was used in their princess form. This brooch may match the tiara since both are from the Silver Millennium era.

  Every satellite senshi has a crystal that they wear as a brooch on their front bow. The crystal glows a slight purple colour and contains a "key" to a black hole that they are a guardian of (think of it as a worm hole to a black hole).

  None of the satellite senshi wear a choker/necklace. None of the satellite senshi have sleeves - the bodice is a strapless sweetheart bustier.

  Each satellite senshi can wear whatever shoe type is imaginable. The only restriction is that the shoe is predominately white.

Asteroid Senshi -

  These senshi are from asteroids. In the Silver Millennium they were ambassadors/generals/elected officials/etc. They did not wear tiaras, instead they have decorative shoulder armour with two beaded gold chains that drape around the arms and across the chest. The collar/cape is connected to the shoulder armour instead of connecting at the front of the chest. The main jewel on their shoulder armour can be either of the two main colours of their fuku.

  Their fuku colours consist of three colours:
- white for the gloves, bodice, and shoes;
- a main colour for the collar/cape, the back bow, the top belt ribbon, and the skirt;
- a secondary colour (that is not a metal colour) for the tops of the gloves and bodice, the front bow, the bottom belt ribbon as well as the stripe that appears in the middle of the skirt, and the back two ribbons that are attached to the back bow.

  All of the asteroid senshi have somewhat intricate hairstyles with braids. Every asteroid senshi have v-cuts in the ribbons on their front and back bow like seen in this picture: hipgirlclips.com/forums/xw-ins…

  Every asteroid senshi has a crystal that they wear as a brooch on their front bow. The crystal glows a slight purple colour and contains a "key" to a black hole that they are a guardian of (think of it as a worm hole to a black hole).

  None of the asteroid senshi wear a choker/necklace. None of the satellite senshi have sleeves - the bodice is a strapless sweetheart bustier.

  Every asteroid senshi wears a straight top, knee-high, white boot. The asteroid senshi are more of a military type senshi - so there is not much variety in their fuku, the only differences being their colours which represent their homeland's colours.
